Ingredients
1 pack of Barakah Al Sanabel elbow pasta
Cheddar cheese
Mozzarella cheese
Butter
Flour
Milk
Olive oil
Rosemary
Salt and black pepper
Nutmeg
Instructions
Cook the pasta Prepare the pasta according to the instructions on the package
Prepare the sauce In a pot, melt the butter with a tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the flour and stir with a whisk until it is lightly toasted but not browned. Gradually add the milk while continuously whisking to prevent lumps. Add salt, pepper, and nutmeg (which adds an Arabic twist to the recipe).
Combine with cheese Lower the heat and add the cheeses, stirring until melted and the sauce is smooth. Remove from heat
Mix with pasta Drain the pasta and return it to the pot. Stir in the cheese sauce until well combined.
Serve Place the pasta in a serving dish, sprinkle with oregano, and serve.
